- The Allianz Core Private Markets Fund enables professional and well-informed investors to gain exposure to Infrastructure, Private Debt, and Private Equity with one single funding, offering access to a globally diversified private markets portfolio alongside Allianz
- Through its innovative swap structure, investors can benefit from day one from the growth potential of private markets and benefit from attractive liquidity features
14.05.2025 | Allianz Global Investors (AllianzGI) has announced today that the Allianz Core Private Markets Fund (ACPMF) has raised over EUR 400mn to date from clients across Europe. The strategy that was launched in summer 2023 gives well-informed and professional clients the opportunity to invest alongside Allianz in infrastructure (equity and debt), private debt, and private equity. Goal of the strategy is to offer access to a well-diversified portfolio across geographies, segments, vintage years, and sectors, aiming to generate attractive high single-digit returns with comparatively low volatility.
The ACPMF is characterized by its innovative total return swap structure that allows the fund to be fully invested immediately, accessing the performance of a private markets basket of the Allianz balance sheet, without having to invest directly in the underlying assets. This allows investors to participate in private markets from day one with more flexible liquidity features without having to incur potential initial lower returns during the portfolio build-up, as typically associated with investments in closed-ended funds. In addition, the ACPMF offers quarterly liquidity*. The fund with approximately 10,000 single underlying positions offers a fairly balanced exposure to asset classes, currently allocated 40% to infrastructure equity and debt, 30% to private debt and 30% to private equity.
Edouard Jozan, Head of Distribution Europe and future Head of Private Markets starting from June 1, 2025, at Allianz Global Investors, said: "As one of the leading investors in private markets, we are very proud of the strong interest of clients in this solution which is proof of our successful product development and innovation capabilities. With the award-winning structure of the ACPMF a broader client group can benefit from long-term growth potential and portfolio diversification investing alongside Allianz."
Raluca Jochmann, Head of Private Markets Solutions at Allianz Global Investors, added: "We see more and more interest of clients in evergreen funds that allow for access to the sophisticated private markets asset universe with more flexibility while generating attractive returns. We are very delighted that the ACPMF through its innovative structure can play a relevant role in this environment.“
AllianzGI is offering a broad range of investment solutions and manages c. EUR 98bn in private market assets.
